Sky Hopper

Sky Hopper is a vertical endless platformer: your character bounces automatically, and you only control left and right. Platforms scroll upward as you climb, and falling below the screen ends the run.

The difficulty comes from platform spacing and movement. Some platforms slide horizontally, and the gaps get wider as your height increases, so the safe rhythm you use at the start stops working later.

There is no timer and no finish line — just a height score, a best score, and the decision of when to take a risk for a higher platform.

How to play Sky Hopper

• Move left and right with the arrow keys, A and D, or by holding either side of the screen.
• Land on a platform to bounce automatically.
• The camera follows you upward; falling below the bottom of the screen ends the run.
• Your score is the height climbed.

Tips & strategy

Sky Hopper is about controlling horizontal momentum. Vertical progress is automatic; sideways mistakes are what end runs.

• Aim for the centre of a platform, not its edge. Landing near the edge leaves almost no room for the next jump.
• Use short taps rather than holding a direction — the character keeps momentum after you release.
• Move before you land, not after. The next platform's position should decide your direction while you are still in the air.
• Moving platforms are easier to land on when you approach from the direction they are travelling.
• Resist climbing the highest available platform every time; a slightly lower platform can be a safer stepping stone.
• When the camera starts moving fast, slow your inputs down. Panic steering overshoots the small platforms.
